When you see a design gliding down the runway under the dazzling lights of Paris Fashion Week, have you ever wondered about the depth of its color, the soul of its texture, or the story behind its pattern? A great deal of that magic is created within the walls of Les Teintures de France, a modest workshop in Bonneuil-sur-Marne, a stone's throw from Paris. This is an artisanal dye house run by a family, led by Artistic Director Serge Haouzi, along with his associate Thierry Azerad, his wife, and his two daughters, who have transformed textile finishing into an art form.
With nearly 30 years of experience, this workshop brings to life the most daring visions of giants like Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, and Jean-Paul Gaultier, and has become an indispensable part of high fashion.
