Sibling artists Cemre Gümeli and Tuna Gümeli are taking part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, one of the world's most prestigious arts festivals, with their new play "The Unexpected Mayfly," produced by their company, The Antic Company. The play will be staged at the festival, held every August in Scotland, and is scheduled to meet the audience between August 19-23, 2025.
Written by Tuna Gümeli, and directed by and starring Cemre Gümeli, "The
Unexpected Mayfly" is notable for its imaginative narrative and unconventional staging. This participation stands out as a significant milestone in the Gümeli siblings' careers and a proud moment for the representation of Turkish theatre on the international stage.
