While the notes of "Diamanti" accompany the Italian skating team at Milano Cortina 2026, Ferzan Özpetek is already turning the page to his next story. The director has officially announced his new film,
"Nella Gioia e Nel Dolore" (In Joy and In Sorrow). Following the massive international success of Diamanti, production is set to begin this June. Produced by Marco Belardi Production and Faros Film, in collaboration with Vision Distribution and Sky Italia, the film is scheduled to arrive in Italian cinemas for Christmas 2026. The maestro isn’t slowing down.
